Black Widow gun truck, Ron Smith, Pensacola, Florida owner/builder. Transported to the Gathering by Larry Board (Proud American replica), Columbus, Georgia
Ralph We missed you this year and you missed a great gathering. Over 130 vetrans and almost that many wives, and bunch of children and grandchildren. Lots of great food also. Burgers, hotdogs, ribs, fish, baked potatoes, roasted corn on the cob, beans and slaw. And most of all you missed ME. Looking forward to seeing you again at the next one or at the ATAV in Pigeon Forge next June 6-13. Dan
I WAS JUST LOOKING AT THE LIST OF GUN TRUCKS AND ZOOMED THE PICTURE OF THE LIST AND SEE THAT THE ( KING COBRA ), IS NOT ON THE LIST, EITHER THAT OR MY EYES ARE BAD, JUST FIGURED THIS IS WORTH MENTIONING SINCE SOME OF US GUYS WERE ON THE KING COBRA in PHUTAI with the 597th Trans, Dirty 3rd Platoon, just figured I should let ya know that some of the Guntruckers if they are able to Make it to Pigeon Forge in the Future, they may be disappointed, whom served on the King Cobra. I know there are many, many other Guntrucks and it is hard to list them all, so I will forgive ya, later, Frenchie, Rt Rear Gunner of the King Cobra 71-72, 597 th. Trans Co.
